Introduction of enamel characteristics of glass-lined reactor

Industrial enamels are mostly used in chemical equipment. These equipment conduct chemical reaction under high temperature and high pressure, and most of them contact with strong acid and alkali solution. Therefore, industrial enamel glaze must have the following characteristics:

1. Tightness is better.

2. There shall be no bubbles, pores, focus and other defects during firing.

3. It has good acid and alkali resistance chemical stability.

4. It has good thermal stability.

5. It has good mechanical strength.

The chemical stability and thermal stability of industrial enamel glaze are required to be high. Therefore, the content of SiO2 in the chemical formula is very high, generally around 65%, some as high as 70%. It is difficult for industrial enamel glaze to have excellent acid and alkali resistance at the same time. The introduction of Zr02 in the formula can improve the alkali resistance chemical stability of industrial enamel glaze.

The special chemical composition and product structure of industrial enamel products require that the firing range of industrial enamel glaze is relatively wide. Therefore, the composite primer is adopted, that is, two or more kinds of primer are matched in a certain proportion, and a large amount of quartz is added to form the composite primer of industrial enamel.
