Three Classifications of Enamel Heat Exchangers

The application of heat exchangers has become increasingly widespread. Today, the editor of enamel heat exchanger manufacturers will explain the classification of heat exchangers. According to different heat exchange methods, heat exchangers can be divided into three types: inter wall heat exchangers, direct contact (hybrid) heat exchangers, and regenerative heat exchangers.

(1) The cold and hot fluids in a wall type heat exchanger are separated by a solid wall and cannot be in direct contact. The heat of the hot fluid needs to be transferred to the cold fluid through the solid wall. This type of heat exchanger is most widely used in petroleum and chemical production, such as tubular heat exchangers, tubular heat exchangers, plate heat exchangers, etc.

(2) Direct contact (hybrid) heat exchanger

The cold and hot fluids directly contact the heat exchanger for heat exchange. The enamel heat exchanger manufacturer tells you that the most common ones are the cooling tower and the gas-liquid mixed condenser. In the gas-liquid mixed condenser, the steam and water contact directly, and the steam is cooled by water and condensed into liquid.

(3) The regenerative heat exchanger is equipped with a heat storage body (usually a refractory brick), which allows cold and hot fluids to pass through it alternately. When the hot fluid passes through, the heat storage body absorbs the heat of the hot fluid and heats up, while the hot fluid releases heat and cools down; When a cold fluid passes through a heat storage body, the heat storage body releases heat and cools down, while the cold fluid absorbs heat and heats up. This alternating process is achieved by switching valves. In furnaces for steelmaking, coking, and glass melting, this method is used to preheat combustion air.
