What working conditions are suitable for the glass lined reactor

The glass lined glass lined reactor has excellent corrosion resistance. So, can it withstand all acids and alkalis?

Although the glass lined reactor has good corrosion resistance, it does not mean that it can withstand all acids and alkalis. There are still some taboos, mainly including:

(1) For hydrofluoric acid at any temperature or concentration, as well as media or materials containing fluorine ions, there is no corrosion resistance.

(2) For phosphoric acid media with a temperature above 180 ℃ or a concentration greater than 30%, it is not corrosion-resistant.

(3) If the pH value of alkaline medium or material is greater than 12 and the temperature exceeds 80 ℃, then the glass lining is also not corrosion-resistant. In addition, if acid and alkali materials react alternately in a glass lined reactor, it will not have corrosion resistance to the reactor and will cause significant harm.
