Inspection of glass-lined reactor before use

In the process of chemical production, the glass-lined reactor has certain risks. In order to ensure the normal operation of equipment, it also ensures the safety of operators. Therefore, the glass-lined reactor should be inspected as follows before use.

1. Equipment inspection: check and confirm whether the appearance of the glass-lined reactor and accessories is abnormal, whether the number of clips at each connection is sufficient, whether the bolt connection is obviously loose, and whether the interface is sealed as required.

2. Electrical inspection: check and confirm that the appearance of the motor is in good condition, the grounding wire is well connected, the static connection between the pot cover and the pot body, the reducer and the mixing motor is in good condition, and test and confirm that the visual hole lamp is in good condition.

3. Check the lubrication system: check whether the gland of the top down glass-lined reactor packing seal is at the bottom, and whether there is oil in the single-end oil cup and double-end seal. For the lubrication system with double-face mechanical seal, the end face is sufficient.

4. Pipeline inspection: check whether the valves, pipelines, pipe fittings and insulation layer on each connecting pipe are in good condition, whether there is air leakage, whether the valves are opened and closed smoothly, and whether they are closed.

5. These are some inspections that should be done before using the glass-lined reactor. In addition, in order to ensure the normal operation of the glass-lined reactor, it is also necessary to confirm whether the thermometer, liquid level, pressure gauge and other instruments of the glass-lined reactor are normal.
