How to choose a centrifuge for your reactor

During the operation of an enameled reactor, a variety of materials are mixed and chemically reacted, and centrifugal equipment plays a vital role. Next, we will discuss how to select the appropriate centrifugal pump in the enamel reactor.

1. The first thing to consider when selecting is the rotational speed. Centrifuges can be categorized into three types: low, high and ultra-high speeds according to their rotational speeds. Each type of centrifuge has its own specific rotational speed limitation, which refers to the maximum rotational speed during no-load operation. However, the maximum speed can also vary depending on the type and quality of the rotor. Therefore, when selecting the rotational speed, we must be careful to ensure that the maximum speed of the selected enameled reactor centrifuge is higher than the desired target speed.

2. Another important factor is the temperature control during centrifuge operation. Because some samples are damaged in high temperature environments, in this case we need to choose a refrigerated centrifuge which can operate within the rated temperature range. At the same time, it is important to ensure that the heat generated by the centrifuge at high speeds is balanced with the refrigeration system at a certain temperature. Usually, the sample temperature can be maintained between 3-8 degrees Celsius, but of course, the temperature that can be reached by the specific rotor depends on the specific conditions of the rotor.

Centrifuges are effective in separating liquids from other substances in enameled reaction tanks. Therefore, when using a reactor, we must choose a centrifuge that operates more effectively.
