In previous articles, we introduced the performance characteristics of enamel glass condenser. In this article, we will continue to introduce the precautions for using enamel disc condenser:
1. The enamel disc is composed of a condenser with a bottom, cover, several pieces, auxiliary washers, and long bolts. The assembly should be carried out according to the drawings and relevant requirements. When tightening the nuts, the force should be symmetrically and evenly applied gradually to achieve no leakage as the standard, and should not be too tight.
2. The hot air flow flows in through the cover hole, and the condensate flows out through the bottom hole. Cooling water enters through the bottom connecting pipe and flows out through the cover connecting pipe. The cooling water flow rate can be adjusted based on the temperature difference between the overflow outlet and the temperature of the condensate to further improve condensation efficiency.
3. The pH value of the cooling water should be controlled at a neutral level, not less than the usual 6-8 range. Otherwise, the iron tank will adsorb hydrogen and oxygen, which will cause the glass lining layer to peel off in a large area. The water quality should be relatively clean to prevent the deposition of impurities.
4. If there is a local leakage during use, the nut in that area can be tightened appropriately, but it should not be too tight.
5. During use, cooling water should be used first, followed by hot air flow. When terminating use, hot air flow should be stopped first, followed by cooling water.
6. The enamel surface of the enamel disc condenser is strictly prohibited from being collided or rubbed by hard substances to prevent damage to the enamel surface.
7. The condensation efficiency of this product is significantly higher than that of sleeve type coolers with the same condensation area. This product should be installed vertically and cannot disrupt the hot air flow process due to horizontal installation.
8. The thermal shock temperature difference of glass lining is ≤ 120 ℃. When the hot air flow is started, the pressure and temperature should be controlled. The temperature should be raised slowly. After the equipment adapts (the difference between the outlet water temperature of condensate and the inlet temperature of hot air flow is ≤ 110 ℃), the flow should be increased and normal production should be started.
9. After using the enamel disc condenser for a long time, if it is found that the cooling water is turbid and significantly affects the condensation efficiency, measures can be taken to remove the interlayer scale. To remove the scale, a single piece should be briefly introduced with 5% concentration of warm sulfuric acid. After three minutes, the acid should be immediately discharged and washed with a large amount of water. Then, a 0.5% concentration of dilute alkaline solution should be used to neutralize it. Residual acid should be fully removed, and iron tanks should be strictly prevented from adsorbing hydrogen and oxygen.
10. The sealing gasket of the condenser is equipped with steel wire, which can be used in direct air production systems.
11. When using at a temperature of 20 ℃ -150 ℃, use neoprene rubber wrapped with PTFE gaskets. When using a temperature between 150 ℃ -200 ℃, first wrap the PTFE gasket with fluororubber.
