Installation steps for mechanical seal of glass lined reactor

During assembly, the accuracy requirements for installation and fitting are achieved by fine-tuning the relative position of the transmission device frame and the thickness of the mixing hole gasket. The installation steps for the mechanical seal of the glass lined reactor are generally as follows:

① Firstly, check the quality of the mechanical seal and whether there are scratches or other marks on the end faces of the dynamic and static rings.

② Recheck the levelness of the mechanical seal stationary ring and the verticality of the mixing shaft sealing section with a liquid level gauge and dial indicator, and correct to the specified requirements.

③ Use a clean soft cloth to clean the O-ring and foreign objects on the surface of the rotor and stator, and apply a small amount of lubricating oil on the surface according to the usage requirements of the medium in the tank.

④ Install and fix the mechanical seal base and fixing ring, adjust the hexagonal set screws inside the fixing ring on the mixing shaft, ensure that the spring and spring of the mechanical seal are under force, and ensure that the dynamic and static ring end faces of the glass lined reactor mechanical seal are tightly combined until the final assembly is completed and tested.

⑤ If a balance tank is installed on the rack as required, the inlet and outlet of the sealing fluid should be connected to the mechanical sealing pipeline, and a nitrogen steel cylinder should be connected. The pipeline between the pressure reducer and the balance tank. After the static pressure test meets the requirements, connect the water and fire jacket, and connect the cooling water for the overall test run.

⑥ When the temperature of the medium in the glass lined reactor is below 80 ℃, oil should be added to the cooling tank for cooling. The type of fuel added should not affect the quality of the materials in the tank. It should generally have a high heat of vaporization, be clean without any impurities, and have good lubrication effect. When the medium temperature is above 80 ℃, the bottom cooling water jacket and cooling tank are cooled by circulating water.
