PTFE lined pipeline

The connection method for PTFE lined pipes is the same as that for hot-dip galvanized pipes. Tapping is performed at both ends of the pipes, and the connecting parts are made of galvanized malleable steel fittings with a composite plastic layer on the inner wall. Sealant is applied to the joints and threads during the connection. For large diameter pipes, snap rings or flanges are used for connection.

The cross-section of PTFE lined pipes shall not come into contact with water, non plastic lined pipe fittings shall not be used to replace plastic lined pipe fittings, and pipe fittings coated with plastic inside castable iron pipe fittings shall not be selected. The convex surface of PTFE lined steel pipes with neck threaded steel flanges shall have injection molding interfaces, and transition pieces shall be used for threaded connections with valve ports. Special transition pieces shall also be used for water supply connections, and special rubber sealing rings shall be used for groove type connections.
