Glass lined reactors are commonly used in chemical enterprises in China. 1、 During the use of glass lined reactor, it is strictly prohibited to cool and heat suddenly to avoid damaging the glass lined surface. When heating with steam, the water in the jacket shall be drained first. When opening the inlet valve of steam or cooling water, the valve shall not be fully opened at one time to prevent the equipment from being damaged by cold and hot shocks.

2、 During operation, it is strictly forbidden to drop hard objects into the kettle to damage the glass lining layer, and it is also prohibited to use iron bars, shovels, etc. to stir in the equipment. During operation, it is better to avoid contact between the kettle shell and corrosive liquids such as acids and alkalis. When contacting, it should be cleaned in time to avoid damage to the glass lining layer.

3、 After the equipment is used, it must be thoroughly cleaned, especially the water in the interlayer, otherwise it will form corrosion or damage due to freezing. In addition, the sealing part of glass lined reactor equipped with mechanical seal shall be kept clean.

4、 During the operation, it is necessary to observe whether the thermowell is in contact with the materials at all times. In addition, because the glass lined tube has a large thermal resistance, the temperature displayed has a certain hysteresis, so it is necessary to have an advance judgment on the temperature in the tube.
