Installation precautions for the transmission device of stainless steel reactor

The stainless steel reactor is equipped with an agitator, which requires a transmission device to drive its rotation.

Transmission device position: At the top of the reaction kettle, it is generally arranged vertically.

Composition: Electric motor, reducer, coupling, frame and base, as shown in Figure 4-5

Setting relationship: The reducer reduces the motor speed to the mixing speed required by the process, and then drives the mixing shaft to rotate through the coupling. A frame is installed under the reducer to maintain a certain degree of concentricity during installation and facilitate disassembly and maintenance. A base is often welded on the stainless steel reactor head, and the entire transmission device, along with the frame and shaft seal device, is installed on the base.

Installation of transmission device: In order to ensure the alignment and smooth operation of the stirring shaft, the base should be assembled with the reducer base, the stirring shaft, and the shaft seal device, and placed on the head to find the correct position. After the operation is smooth, the base should be spot welded to the head, and finally the upper part of the base should be removed before welding.
